Minecraft Skins & Minecraft Servers

Ever wonder what kids do on the computer besides playing games?  We asked Lock3, who is a kid, and this is what he said – - – - -

 I personally thought this would be an obvious answer, but oh well. What kids do when they’re not playing games on their pc’s, they’re usually on social networking sites like:

• newgrounds.com
• Mypsace.com
• Facebook.com
• Gaia.com
• hi5.com

And the list goes on and on! It seems that a new site sprouts up every week.  Other than gaming and chatting online, kids don’t do alot of stuff online. We’re not into Twitter, that’s for geeks! 
My favorite of the list is definately Newgrounds.com because on top of being a great gaming site, plus great indie music creators in the audio portal, PLUS hilarious movies, it has some of the coolest features in the social networking industrie like RPG-like levels and secret items! If you go there now you would find yourself in a wonderland where you could creat a whole life in just a few minutes. You would immerse yourself in the joy of interacting in the forums. I personally thought of this great site as a nirvana to me whenever i just needed a break. As long as someone deosn’t make a newgrounds 2.1 or something, you can find me as Lock3.

This summer I’m going to be taking some classes online with Giant Campus.  It’s summer camp for kids, and it’s a cool way to learn new computer skills.  I’m also going to summer camp again this year in the Bay Area, at UC Berkeley overnight summer camp.  This will be the third summer of sleepaway camps with Giant Campus! So – hope that gives you some ideas of what kids do online besides playing games!
